Kevin's Community Center was founded in 2002 by Dr. and Mrs. Z. Michael Taweh, in loving memory of their son Kevin. What began as a grassroots response to Connecticut's healthcare crisis has grown into a cornerstone of the Newtown community.
Dr. Taweh united local government, businesses, the medical community, nonprofits, and residents to build a clinic that has delivered over $2.5 million in free care across more than 5,000 patient visits.
